What is Henna or Mehndi?
Henna is a tropical tree or shrub called Lawsonia inermis, that posses natural dyeing and conditioning properties. The past made from dried and powdered leaves of Henna plant is used in creating intrique ethnic or contemprory designs on different parts of the body. Though traditionally applied to hands and feet of women , where it has long played a significant part in the wedding ritual across cultures, Henna is now becoming a fashion statement in the western culture as a temporary tattoo.
